A look at some of the sailing ratios to judge the best for you. Sail Area to Displacement, Displacement to Length, Ksp ( Kelsall Sailing Performance Number) etc.
And remember, watch out for their numbers and make sure you check even my numbers. Actually, a previewing of this video by my Patreon crowd noticed some discrepancies in the price tags of some of the catamarans. I apologise for this. It is very difficult to get actual price tags even if you write to the manufacturers. Most don’t reply and you are forced to get info from agents and then you can see that most tell you lies. Base prices located on some websites are not actually base prices at all and need to be adjusted. Just make sure you get everything in writing and definitely put all important details in the contract. Good luck with your search for your performance cruising catamaran.
