Enjoying morning coffee on the boat. Karen was doing some jumping jacks. Steve liked watching her jump up and down in her bikini. The original lazarette seats in the cockpit were built using thin fiberglass over wood. Through the decades the fiberglass cracked letting in water to rot the wood. Both sides needed replacing. We used marine grade plywood that has a high end core among other things. Finished with a dark stain and multiple coats of exterior polyurethane with UV inhibitors. They should last for some time.
Karen was bailing water out of the dinghy we had launched when guests were on board. Had a little fuel delivery problem that is maybe fixed. Replaced the part that connects the fuel hose directly to the Mercury outboard.
Took a long walk in the woods to relax. Toward the end the bugs came out which hastened our return.
