2:52 Race is called
4:16 Dancing
4:53 Sailing
10:12 Compass take apart
11:06 Dancing again
Our first race on Cakewalk didn’t end up as anticipated. The winds died shortly after race started, it was called off and Karen was pissed. Steve just wanted another glass of wine. We spent the rest of the day motoring and cooking back at the slip.
The next day the winds were better and we had a great sail. We also repaired our Ritchie SP-5C compass which had a leak in the diaphragm. It seems to be holding fluid now. Richie recommends mineral spirits or equivalent. As usual dancing was part of our adventure.
