“Living life on the lean” is a catch phrase that people throw around like “boat life”. You don’t really know it until you know it.
There is no greater feeling than when your boat is performing to its optimal capabilities, smoothly gliding through the water, and fulfilling the promise of adventure on the open seas. The wind and waves are cooperating with each other, your healed over just right, and you’re honking at hull speed. That’s not to say you’re not on high alert. Your adrenaline is so maxed to react to every wind gust, your core is completely engaged to keep you from bouncing into all the hard corners on the boat and for some reason you just can’t seem to drink enough water.
