What a week it has been on San Cristobal Island. First we take our snorkeling tour of Kicker Rock aboard the Cindy Sol and swim with sea turtles as well hammerhead sharks, rays and lots of fishes. After that we take a day to run errands in the local port including a trip to the hardware store. Then it is hiking time with trips to the interpretive center, local beaches and Darwin Bay. As we count down to departure for our second island stop, we experience yet another Raymarine Seatalk network failure. After getting back enough of the systems to allow us to proceed, we head back to town to claim our Zarpe and have one last meal at our favorite stop, Rosita’s.
