It has been a wonderful 5 weeks herein the Galapagos Islands and with tourists beginning to return to the islands, more tours have become available. This week we visit the iconic Pinnacle Rock and Bartolome Island. When you think Galapagos Islands you have likely been trained by the advertising to visualize Pinnacle Rock. Master and Commander, staring Russell Crowe, has several scenes filmed here and after you have watched the movie you cannot help but imagine being here yourself someday. Well, our “someday” is finally here and we make the most of it aboard the luxury tour yacht Sea Lion. As much as the scenery, the crew and service aboard the Sea Lion, out of Finch Bay Resort, make for a top ten life experience. From the sharks and porpoises to the warm cookies served on the ride home, this trip was a 10/10.
