This is a longer version of the Back & Fill section in Episode 10.
Many people ask us about techniques for manoeuvring a long keeled boat. Well we’re very lucky as we have a very good bow thruster so it’s not so difficult for us. But a bow thruster is not the answer to everything and to move a long keeled boat around tight spaces like marinas you will need to master ‘Back & Fill’.
