in this episode of Sailing EV, we sail Copernicus into the beautiful historic city of Angra do Heroísmo on the island of Terceira, Azores.
After making our way across the Atlantic, we finally get the chance to bring the Fountaine Pajot 42 into this incredible part of the world. This is our first time anchoring Copernicus in the Azores, so there’s a little bit of excitement — and a lot of checking charts, depths and anchorages — as we find our spot.
Once the anchor is finally set, it’s time to leave the boat behind and explore Angra do Heroísmo. This UNESCO World Heritage city is packed with history, beautiful old streets, colourful buildings and, of course, some very welcome cold beers!
We wander through the city, soak up the atmosphere and discover.
