This year we really made much more of an effort to attempt to live more frugally as we sailed along the South Coast, whilst taking advantage of as many free anchorages as possible.
In this video we share our expenses for living on a sail boat, after we set sail. Given that the money which goes into maintaining a yacht can vary so greatly and will be different for most people, we wanted to try and show the kind of costs that you’re likely to encounter in this area, whether you’re in a million pound boat, or something much smaller and affordable. At the end of the day, anchoring is anchoring and in most places it’s free, regardless the size of your ship.
