First sail in 18 months! Overnight passage south the day after we splashed
After 1.5 years out of the water, we finally splashed the boat and pointed the bow south. A short night in the marina quickly turned into our first overnight sail in months.
There were plenty of nerves, excitement, and a few reminders that sailing in the Sea of Cortez takes some adjusting. In this episode we get the boat moving again, settle back into life under sail, and the spend the night offshore for the first time in a long time.
