In this video we might just be starting our best sailing adventure yet! We are leaving the Caribbean behind, and joining the Oklahoma State Sailing Club right in our own little community of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
As it turns out anyone in the community can become a member, not just college students. So we are joining the club to become more proficient in sailing and be able to get out on the water more often in between our bareboat charters and mile building trips.
We meet up at Lake Carl Blackwell with Stuart, who yo might recognize from our previous videos. He is a community advisor and volunteers to help with the club. Today, he is officially accepting our membership application and giving us a thorough walkthrough of the boats and even taking us out on a Catalina 22 for a test sail.
If you would like to donate to the cause to help keep the OSU sailing club afloat, you can do so by going to
philanthropeteosugiving.com
There you can make donations to the sailing club, that allows them to keep the club going and continuing to allow the students to be able to learn and enjoy sailing as a club sport.
We will be doing our part by donating the money from every video we put together while sailing on the OSU sailing club boats. Looks for "OSU Sailing Club" playlist, put it on repeat or share with everyone you know. The more the videos are liked and shared the more money we will be able to donate to the club.
