We are embarking on our biggest, most ambitious family adventure yet: a 5,000+ mile cross-country road trip in our camper van. Our route is massive—we're leaving Charlotte, NC and heading north to Minneapolis, before pushing deep into the Rocky Mountains to explore Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton, before making the long haul back home.
The catch? It’s the four of us locked in a camper van for weeks: my wife and I, our 2.5-year-old, and our 1-year-old.
In this first episode, the wheels aren't rolling just yet. We are back home in Charlotte doing the ultimate pre-trip prep. From optimizing tight van storage for endless baby gear, diapers, and toddler toys, to checking the mechanical vitals of the van, we're sharing exactly how we pack and prepare for total chaos on the open road.
