Felix and I took our very first father-son #campervan adventure into the mountains of North Carolina, spending a few days exploring the Linville Gorge area and the legendary Old 105 forest road.
The trip turned into exactly what we needed — no internet, no distractions, just time together exploring new campsites, hanging out with Navy the dog, and slowing life down for a few days. Along the way we watched a motorcycle nearly crash, helped put out an unattended fire that had started spreading through the woods, and learned a lot about what our van still needs before bigger adventures ahead.
This trip was less about perfection and more about making memories, scouting future camp spots, and figuring out how to build the van into something ready for epic trips in the future.
More #adventures #vanlife coming soon. #fatherson
