Bend and Snap | Sailing Wisdom [S3 Ep22]

While Wisdom is being repainted, Herby and Maddie explore the island of Terciera, Azores! They venture off the beaten path to find a side of the Azores rarely seen (like a geothermal power plant).
The wood finally arrives at the boat so that they can begin the galley refit! The plan is to build sepele mahogany butcher block counter tops.
Herby and Maddie also take a walk into town (Praia Victoria) when they take a break from editing videos.
Herby takes care of the rot occurring in the closet and under the floors. The rotten wood is removed and repaired in a way that should hold up for many years to come. He uses closed cell foam coring and fiberglass to repair the lost wood.
Enjoy watching as a disgusting bilge turns into a beautiful section in the boat!
