Welcome to Out Chasing Stars! We're Admiral Amy and Captain David and we're currently exploring the world on s/v Starry Horizons, our Fountaine Pajot Helia 44 catamaran. We started out (nervously!) watching our boat get launched in La Rochelle, France in October of 2014. Since then we've completed an entire world circumnavigation, sailing over 37,000nm, and documented it all here on YouTube. We started making these videos to show our family and friends what life was like on a sailboat, and we're still amazed that other people have also started following along. It's been so much fun to share our adventures and we love reading all the comments and support! There's a lot of world left to see so don't forget to check back in and subscribe! With Starry Horizons back on the mend, we set out to explore a place of the Vava’u Group of Tonga we had never been before: Kenutu Island. This is one of those absolutely picturesque South Pacific Islands. It’s surrounded by a reef, uninhabited with a gorgeous beach, palm trees everywhere and even a hike up to the top for a view and a mystery. What’s not to love???
We were hoping to explore more of Vava’u, but we saw a weather window opening up to head down to the Ha’apai Group so we made our way back into Neiafu to refuel, re-provision and then get moving.
