Hey! Welcome back. In this video we’re in Almerimar marina, on the south coast of Spain – and we’ve come into the marina to get through a long list of boat projects before continuing on. Welcome to the other side of sailing. It’s definitely a work hard play hard kind of thing.
It’s time to haul the boat out and it’s the first time we’re hauling out since we bought her so we’re hoping we don’t have any nasty surprises.
We’re living on the hard in this video and it’s long days and exhausted evenings. We get cracking on our boat jobs – starting with scraping all the old bottom paint off which is peeling off, before being able to start repainting. This job is crazyyy slow – and very labour intensive. We scrape, then sand before even being able to start painting.
