Hello! In this video, we say our goodbyes to friends in Almerimar and have an overnight sail to Estepona, further West along the coast of Spain. We pull into port there and set up camp for a few days where we make some progress on some big boat upgrades we’ve been wanting to do for a while, bringing Navika into the 21st century. We do an epoxy pour countertop for our galley (we use Epodex epoxy which was great by the way), fix our bilge pump, measure up for new water tanks and install some cockpit speakers. We visit the beautiful old town of Estepona, which has such an Andalusian and Spanish vibe and we happen to be there at a unsettling time when the forest fires of the Sierra Bermeja took place.
