It’s time to do a bit of exploring so we pop out of the marina and head over to the nearby mangroves in Peanut to go crabbing. It’s good to be back out on the water and doing what we love.
Magnus has gleaned some high-level crabbing tips from a seasoned crabber and we power over to the beautiful network of mangroves a few kilometres away. He sets our pots in various locations and we head back into the marina to wait.
We come very close to buying a new boat, but alas we are pipped at the post. But, when the boat is being cleaned out and made ready to set sail a ridiculous amount of beer is found on board! Magnus is given an unusual, brightly coloured can of brew and decides to do a beer review on it. It’s not our everyday beer choice!
After leaving the crab nets out overnight we head back out to collect our bounty with a delicious crab dinner on our minds!
