We are unable to anchor in the bay next to Victoria Settlement so we anchor in the bay opposite, which is a long tinnie ride, but Peanut is built for it.
At 6am we motor over to the other side of Port Essington and make our way, by foot, to Victoria Settlement.
It’s an eerie feeling walking on tracks which were walked on over a 100 years ago by the early settlers.
We take our time and have a good look around.
Here we share what we found and Mavi shares too.
It was an amazing place and we were glad that we made the effort to get to it.
