Lin and Larry Pardey circumnavigated twice on two different boats: each of them were engine-less, hand-built by Larry, and less than 30′. I bring this up because people who aren’t familiar with sailing vessels might be surprised that a boat of this size could be fit for ocean passages.
Pacific Seacraft makes excellent, high quality yachts that are small and ocean-capable. The 25 is no different. I believe this boat is a worthwhile project for someone looking for a true go-anywhere pocket cruiser and isn’t afraid to restore her.
She’s perfect for someone with a little bit of land to store her on a trailer and restore her on his or her own time, at least that’s what I would do.

Learning the Lines is a channel about us, an average couple in our 20’s, with big dreams to be sailing the world by the time we’re in our 30’s. We’re not afraid to jump into anything, put in the work, and learn as we go. For this reason our channel is very DIY focused, with the goal to show anyone watching that a lot is possible if you’re not afraid to make some mistakes along the way.
Please leave a like and comment if you’ve enjoyed the video, and subscribe if you haven’t already.
