Sailing the San Blas Islands, Panama after months of sailboat repairs, boatyard damage and an ongoing insurance claim! ⛵️🌴 After months stuck in the boatyard, Escapade is finally back on the water and we’re sailing again!
In this episode, we take you along for our first week back aboard Escapade as we leave the boatyard behind and begin sailing through Panama once again.
We explore the incredible San Blas Islands, spend some much-needed time back at anchor, and start making our way towards Bocas del Toro. 🌊
But we also know many of you still have questions about what happened to Escapade, so we sit down to give you a more detailed update on the boat repairs, the damage caused at the boatyard, our insurance claim, and where everything currently stands.
After such a long and frustrating few months, it feels amazing to finally be moving again. There’s still a lot to sort out, but getting Escapade back in the water and sailing through the beautiful islands of Panama feels like a huge step forward. ❤️
