SAILING THE GREEK ISLANDS, CAUGHT IN A VOILENT STORM, SAILBOAT NEARLY DRAGS INTO US, BAHAMAS PIG BEACH MED STYLE, EXPLORING GREEK TOWNS, A QUICK REUINION WITH OUR SAILING BUDDY, HAULING OUT OUR SAIL BOAT & THE END OF OUR SEASON!
This week we push the boundaries sailing out of season. We get stuck in two storms and they’re getting more voilent by the storm! We encounter a top wind gust of 62 knots, a boat is only metres away from colliding with us after dragging, we have hail, heavy rain and over 2600 lightning strikes in our region! It was pretty damn scary thinking we could potentially drag and lose our home but our Rocna Anchor and Titan chain held us like a champ!!
We do get to do a few fun things into our last week of the season though. We find the Pig beach of the Med, enjoy some light wind sailing in glassed off conditions, explore some new towns and have a beach bonfire!
