Well it is official, Mike and I are heading to Mexico to continue our sailing adventure that we started in 2008. Come this September 2017 we head out to the great blue yonder and point the boat south, first stop will be San Francisco after clearing US customs in Friday Harbour. In this episode we sail to our favorite spots in the sea of Cortez the islands of Esparto Santos while waiting for the cargo ship to arrive so that we can ship AOV back to BC where we will cruise to Alaska.
In this episode what would normally take us 2 days 2 nights to sail from La Paz to Mazatlán takes us 5 days and eventually we get towed the last 6 miles. Thanks to sailing vessel Sunrisa for coming to our rescue.

We can finally say that we are truly in Mexico as we walk along the white sandy beaches of Bahia Santa Maria and Magdelana Bay. We spent about week between these two locations... They are a must see if you ever plan to sail along the baja.
