Procedure to enter Madagascar.
To obtain your entry permit to Madagascar, here is the procedure to follow.
Write a mail with the subject :
Request for authorization of exceptional entry of a sailboat in Madagascar.
Please indicate in the mail :
The reasons for your arrival
Your port of departure
The port of entry desired in Madagascar
The number of days of stay in Madagascar.
List of documents to provide :
Naturalization certificate of the ship, safety certificate or navigation permit
Crew list, as well as the list of persons on board other than the crew.
Certificate of vaccination COVID-19 of the crew members and persons on board
Copy of all passports
Longitudinal photo on board and starboard side of the vessel
All these documents must be scanned and sent to the following addresses

Border Police: 40€ per visa for 2 months extendable for an additional month
Plus 80'000 Ar
Customs : 160'000 Ar
Gendarmerie : 160'000 Ar
