Meet Skye
I've just completed my first 500-kilometer journey in this 22-year-old Suzuki Every Wagon Joy Pop, now minimally converted into my sleeping quarters, mobile writing room, and think lab as I continue traveling through Japan researching longevity, community, and the Red Zone.
She's just 3 meters long. Wahine, my sailboat and home for the past several years, is 12.4 meters. So I'm learning to live and work a little smaller!
I'm spending OBON in Tokyo and celebrating my wife's and my one-year-old grandson's birthdays before returning to Wahine for a month to watch over Wahine during typhoon season, while her new owner is away on a research trip connected with his Turtle NPO.
In this short video, here's a quick look inside my newest—and smallest—base for exploring Japan.
It's Never Too Late to Keep Going.
