RIPPING our mainsail! SAILING the MEDITERRANEAN from Le Lavandou to Saint Tropez. S3 Ep.9

Sailing the Med in late winter, we sail from La Lavandou to saint Tropez. We were forecast waves of a foot or so but what in reality turned out to be 4 to 6ft swells rolling us around and tearing our mainsail from the mast and wrapping our mainsheet around our rudder.
We eventually make it to glorious Saint Tropez where we visit the Musee Gendarmerie where they made the famous cult classics Gendarme films and take you to visit the 400 year old Citadel fort, where we lay on our backs and watch a film about the Last Cape Horners projected onto the ceiling before lastly walking around the harbour looking enviously at the super yachts of the rich and famous.
