We finally did it! We bought our dream Catamaran! The feeling is still a bit surreal as we’re not officially moved in yet, but we do have so much to share about the process.
We are covering the details of our negotiations, hiring a documenting agent, getting insurance, hurricane coverage, closing details and everything else we can think of that we’ve experienced the past week as we purchase our sailboat. The idea is we learned a lot and we hope our experience helps with your sailboat purchase…that is if you’re looking to buy a sailboat or other live aboard vessel.
