Our mainsail was cut to ribbons in July after getting blasted with a 50k squall. When we arrived in Luperon, we measured our main and ordered a new one from China. In this video, we unbox it to take a look at the workmanship, take off the old sail, and prep the boom and sail cover.
To avoid issues with product placement and advertising, we did not include the cost of the sail in the video. But we bought it from Lee Sails (Hong Kong) and the price of the sail was $2,920 USD. (We also had to pay customs, tax, and delivery.) Lee Sails was kind enough to give us a slight discount on the sail because of our YouTube channel.
