We stumbled on this massive white building while exploring the north coast of Alonissos, Greece. At first, I thought it might be a fish processing plant… but it turned out to be something much stranger: a million-euro research center built to save the endangered Mediterranean monk seal.
Now it’s abandoned. Nobody knows who owns it. And the full story seems to be buried in a forgotten paper trail.
