I Tried to Rescue My Stuck Drone… and Made Everything Worse
What started as a simple FPV training session turned into a full-blown rescue mission… and then a comedy of errors. One drone stuck in a tree. My solution? Use a second drone to get it down. That didn’t go well. Surrounded by blackberry bushes and a completely unreachable treetop, I had to get creative—with boat hooks, saplings, tape, and a touch of Zen.
This is part 2 in the FPV drone series. If you’re enjoying these, make sure to subscribe and let me know in the comments. Next episode: building my own quad from scratch.
📍 Filmed in a small village in Greece during the second wave of lockdowns.
📦 Gear used: DJI Phantom, custom FPV build
