Welcome to these Classic Episodes of the Distant Shores sailing adventure TV series where we revisit destinations from one of our many cruises through the shallow seas of the Bahamas. This time we visit the “far out” Bahamian islands of Mayaguana, Crooked and Acklins where we snorkel on the pristine reefs, come face to face with a shark and later demonstrate how we beach our Southerly 42RST sailboat in remote salt water creeks by retracting its swing keel.
