Beware of Orcas! Sailing South along the Atlantic Coasts of Spain and Portugal - Part 1 | Ep 275
This time on Distant Shores we travel through Orca territory where there have been recent attacks on sailboats as we sail south from Falmouth UK across the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay to Spain. We have the perfect weather for the 3-day passage, finishing with a friendly dolphin greeting as we make landfall at La Coruña. In this area there have been numerous interactions with pods of Orcas, also called Killer Whales, and a couple whose boat was attacked until their steering system was disabled tell us about their experience and show the damage to their boat and others.
