This is our first sailing trip of the year and we are so excited!! In part 1 of this mini-series, Gillian prepares the boat for a 3-day sailing trip in the Pacific Northwest. This means getting lots of food and fuel, and checking everything on the sailboat to make sure it is ready for travel. By the end we cast off with the help of some fellow liveaboards and start our trip around the tip of Vancouver Island, BC. The last time we were sailing was the previous winter, so things were a little bumpy…but we made it!
