We sail out at dusk to our new anchorage where the Abaco swimming pigs live. No Name Cay is the island and there aren’t just pigs there, they’ve got chickens too! We have a lot of fun feeding and petting them, but don’t get too comfortable. They’ll bite you if you’re not careful, just ask Beau.
Beau and Dan go hunting for a new bow roller. They get lucky and find one in almost new condition off an abandoned sports fishing boat tucked in the mangroves at Green Turtle Cay. It looks like someone less determined than Beau tried to remove it but let one bolt prevent that from happening. Luckly Beau had just the tool to get it free in a jiffy.
Then we sailed around the Whale (Whale Cay) to the anchorage just south of Treasure Cay in order to hide from a strong system that was about to roll through. It was forecast to guest 40 kts but it only got to about 35. Our 55 lbs mantus keep us in place with no worries. Hope you enjoy
