Breaking Sailing Superstitions | 93 | Beau and Brandy Sailing
Brandy grew up putting her left shoe on first, throwing spilt salt over her shoulder, never putting her purse on the ground, and staying clear of any black cats in the neighborhood. I, however, wasn’t raised to believe in bad omens. So when Brandy told me we’re sailing on Friday the 13th, I was ready for a good sail.
Although it rained and we didn’t catch any fish, it was a great sail. We got there hours before we estimated and had enough time to explore our new anchorage.
