Launching our Boat on the Chicago River & Lake Michigan - AHOD 4 - 1995 Larson 310 Cabrio
Hey all!
Sorry again for the non-sailboat content. We don't need to re-hash the boatyard rule changes (you can hear all about them in Episode 3), but those changes have given us a little bit of time to work out the logistics of transitioning from land life in Chicago to Boat Life in the Caribbean.
Part of that transition includes launching, listing, and letting go of our awesome boat, Alpha Waves (1995 Larson 310 Cabrio). She has been a fantastic starter boat. Without Alpha Waves, we would have never fallen in love with boat life and would not have purchased our 1980 Gulfstar 50. We will be forever grateful to Alpha Waves, and we look forward to enjoying her on the waters of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River a few more times.
So, please join us as we launch our boat, cruise up the Chicago River, cruise down the shores of Lake Michigan and safely put Alpha Waves in her slip in the Jackson Park Outer Harbor.
