This week follow us as we move out of our house, take Phoenix for our first open ocean sail from Pittwater to Manly. See her reaction when Jen saw a great white shark (she thinks) and see what we do when a storm hits us in the middle of the night. We also install an inverter, and give you a glimpse of what real boat life looks like and introduce you to Pumpy Johnson.

Ahoy! Welcome aboard Phoenix. Join our journey as we leave Sydney to sail up the East coast of Australia and beyond on our sailing boat, Phoenix. We'll upload a video every Friday so you can follow our progress. We are Jen and Christian. Jen's from the UK and Christian is from Colombia. We met traveling around Colombia 8 years ago and we've been living in Australia for the past 6 years. After the pandemic kept us cooped for two years we decided it was time for a change so we took a big leap of faith and left our jobs and life in Sydney to follow our dream of living on a boat.
