Do we have RATS onboard? | Week 13 Aboard Phoenix | Sailing from Port Macquarie to Yamba

Another week of the extreme highs and extreme lows of #boatlife Aboard Phoenix. This week we are #sailing from Port Macquarie to Yamba up the NSW coast of #australia

We set sail from #sydney and so far we have sailed 194 nautical miles up the coast in some pretty ordinary weather. This week we get hit by strong winds, break our headsail. Jen has her scariest moment yet on the boat. We do our first night sail and we sail into breaking waves on a sand bar. And of course we share what we learn about how to catch a rat on a boat! Gross!

Join us for the trials and tribulations and also to explore beautiful Yamba.

We are Jen and Christian, a Brit and a Colombian. During the pandemic we decided to buy a boat and travel up the East Coast of Australia with our dog, Bella. Join us each week as we share our journey.

All music is from Epidemic Sound.
