Hi! We are Christian and Jen. We decided to leave our jobs and chase our dream of living on a sailing boat. But first we had to buy a sailboat! This video tracks our journey of SEARCHING for boats, SURVEYING boats and eventually BUYING our boat Phoenix all during the pandemic.

In this video you’ll follow as we learn all the things to consider and to WATCH OUT for which we learned along the way. This is just the beginning of our journey as we start in Sydney, Australia and sail up the East Coast of Australia towards the Great Barrier Reef in search of an adventure.

Join us and follow our journey, we will be posting updates every week on a Friday/Thursday (depending where in the World you are you). So if you’ve ever wanted to pack in the 9-5 and set sail, follow us and learn from ALL of our MISTAKES!!

We met traveling around Colombia 8 years ago and we've been living in Australia for the past 6 years. After the pandemic kept us cooped for two years we decided it was time for a change so we took a big leap of faith and left our jobs and life in Sydney to follow our dream of living on a boat.
