01″We filmed our three day #AIDA2 #freediving course from classroom to pool to ocean. We share what we learned along the way. #humpbackwhales and a dolphin came diving with us on our first ever ocean dive. We learned how to rescue each other, found out about breath holding and studied the theory of oxygen and CO2 levels in blood. All very interesting stuff. Christian also held his breathe for a record amount of time!
This week in the Gold Coast, we also hung out with friend, fellow Colombian, coffee expert and #vanlifer, Juan, from @thejuanexperience He gave us a taste of #vanlife in his sweet converted ambulance and we showed him a bit of #boatlife
Ever wondered how to hang a hammock on a boat? Christian shows you how we do it. And if you are interested in #coffee Juan took us through three easy methods to make coffee at home – all of them were delicious!!

We'll upload a video every Friday so you can follow our progress. We are Jen and Christian. Jen's from the UK and Christian is from Colombia. We met traveling around Colombia 8 years ago and we've been living in Australia for the past 6 years. After the pandemic kept us cooped for two years we decided it was time for a change so we took a big leap of faith and left our jobs and life in Sydney to follow our dream of living on a boat.
