This week we show you what goes into the less glamorous side of the #boatlifestyle as we do the #laundry. Spoiler alert – it’s not as easy as on land!
We also take you #sailing with dolphins, show you more of the NSW coast of Australia as we #visitnsw and stop in Tuncurry / Forster and explore Laurieton. We find a passage form Captain Cook’s journal and hike up a mountain with some blood sucking hitchhikers.
We are Jen and Christian, a Brit and a Colombian. During another COVID-19 lockdown we decided to quit our jobs and buy a boat. We moved aboard and set sail up the East Coast of Australia. We started in Sydney and have made it up the NSW coast to Laurieton so far. We are learning to live aboard and exploring this beautiful country on our way.

Ahoy! Welcome aboard Phoenix. Join our journey as we leave Sydney to sail up the East coast of Australia and beyond on our sailing boat, Phoenix. We'll upload a video every Friday so you can follow our progress. We are Jen and Christian. Jen's from the UK and Christian is from Colombia. We met traveling around Colombia 8 years ago and we've been living in Australia for the past 6 years. After the pandemic kept us cooped for two years we decided it was time for a change so we took a big leap of faith and left our jobs and life in Sydney to follow our dream of living on a boat.
