This week we set sail from @theboatworks7984 in Gold Coast we went #sailing up towards Moreton Bay but hit some issues on the way. We got stuck in the mud, can you guess how we managed to get ourselves off? After going #aground we then had to prep the boat for strong winds when we found ourselves rescuing another boat! But in amongst all of the drama we #explore the beautiful South Stradbroke Island and find out more about the history of the area, plus we see wallabies and Christian even stepped on one.

Ahoy! Welcome aboard Phoenix. Join our journey as we leave Sydney to sail up the East coast of Australia and beyond on our sailing boat, Phoenix. We'll upload a video every Friday so you can follow our progress. We are Jen and Christian. Jen's from the UK and Christian is from Colombia. We met traveling around Colombia 8 years ago and we've been living in Australia for the past 6 years. After the pandemic kept us cooped for two years we decided it was time for a change so we took a big leap of faith and left our jobs and life in Sydney to follow our dream of living on a boat.
