We set sail from the Galapagos across the Pacific to the Marquesas islands in French Polynesia.
We expected to see very few ships and be pretty much isolated for most of this trip but did not expect to see hundreds of Chinese fishing boats on the outskirts of the area designated as a marine reserve.
However, as usual, it takes us a while to get our sea legs and to work out how to cook on a rocking boat….
