After an unforgettable time in the Maldives, it's finally time to cast off the lines and begin the next major chapter of our voyage. In this episode, we make our final preparations for the challenging Red Sea passage, carrying out a detailed risk assessment, reviewing security procedures, and notifying the relevant maritime authorities of our planned route.
With the boat ready and the crew briefed, we head out into the Indian Ocean. But before long, an unexpected encounter puts our preparations to the test. A suspicious-looking vessel appears on the horizon and seems to be closing in on our position. Following the plans we've carefully put in place, we move through our security procedures and prepare for the possibility of a more serious situation.
Fortunately, not everything is as it first appears. After some tense moments and plenty of watchful eyes, the mystery vessel reveals itself to be a fishing boat, which eventually alters course and leaves us in peace.
