Ep. 147 ~ Sailing to Galaxidi & Exploring the Legendary Oracle of Delphi | Greece Sailing Adventure
Join us on an unforgettable sailing adventure in Greece as we navigate our catamaran through the Gulf of Corinth after recently crossing the Corinth Canal in our previous episode. We arrive to the charming town of Galaxidi, where we will hang out for a week soaking in the beauty of this hidden Greek gem. This picturesque harbor town on the northern coast of the Gulf of Corinth is steeped in maritime history, with neoclassical architecture, vibrant waterfront tavernas, and stunning sea views.
From Galaxidi, we set off on an exciting road trip to the ancient ruins of Delphi, once home to the legendary Oracle of Apollo. Perched on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Delphi was considered the center of the ancient world. We explore the awe-inspiring Temple of Apollo, the ancient theater, and the sacred Tholos of Athena Pronaia, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
As we prepare to continue our journey through the Gulf of Corinth, our next adventure takes us to Trixonia, Nafpaktos, the iconic Patras Bridge, and Missolonghi—so be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell so you don’t miss it!
