Why Does It Feel Like Mantus Threw Up All Over Our Catamaran?
Ep. 221 ~ In Part 2 of getting Oka ready for Season 4, we're still working our way through the ever-growing list of jobs before we can leave Greece and head to Italy.
The main project in this episode is our new catamaran bridle, including our upgraded Mantus chain hook. We build the new setup, get it ready to use, and finally put it to work once we leave our winter marina in Preveza and head out to anchor.
We also tackle some electrical work and reveal an upgrade to our Victron system with a Quattro, work through a few issues with our new canvas clears and screens, and change the oil in our Tohatsu dinghy engine — which naturally leads to Donovan dropping a small engine part into the water and us hiring a diver to search for it. Because apparently an oil change wasn't exciting enough. 😂
We're finally out of the marina and back at anchor, but there's still plenty of work ahead before Oka is ready to leave Greece and continue our Mediterranean adventure.
