Ep. 26 ~ Sailing when the wind is going in completely the opposite and wrong direction you want it to.

This week we took our niece Gracie out sailing along with our blind pup. This was her first outing in our sailboat. This day was a great lesson in sailing when the wind is coming directly towards you from the exact location you're trying to sail to. Easier said than done. Tried all the Points of Sail. Tried every sail trim we could think of. Tried using the rudder for help. NOTHING. Only pirouette's. Although we've already come a long way since that day last October, we are really looking forward to our lessons in FT Lauderdale next week!
