In Part 1 – Haul Out in Lefkada for Coppercoat, Saildrive Service & Other Catamaran Maintenance, we haul out at a boat yard in Nidri, pressure wash the hulls, service our saildrives, and prepare the boat for Coppercoat antifoul. We clean and repaint our anchor, swap ends on the chain, and install stunning underwater lights. This episode is perfect for anyone interested in DIY boat maintenance and sailboat upgrades while living aboard in the Mediterranean.
In Part 2 – Splashing Back into Sailing Life from the Boat Yard – Coppercoat Reveal, we complete our projects and show you the Coppercoat transformation. We also paint our saildrives and props with specialized coatings, replace anodes, and give our entire boat a deep clean before splashing back into the water.
