Back on Nandji II and it is time to tackle a job that was nearly a deal breaker when looking to purchase. When we bought Nandji II, she was up on the hard stand with a large tent built over her. I believe the previous owner had hauled out the boat with best intentions for a deck refit.
The problem... We have screwed in teak decks. I am not sure what they were thinking 20 years ago when they decided to screw hundreds of screws into the deck to fasten down the teak, but that is hundreds of holes where water can get into the core of our deck. These hundred's of screws need to go...
