The best way we thought to find out more about New Zealand was to visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and then to climb up to the flagstaff on the other side. We soon found out that you cannot go tramping without doing some path maintenance which must have inspired Woody to do some outboard maintenance or he was just fed up with trying to row everywhere.
